Connecting and Responding to Suicidal Thoughts in Survivors of Domestic Violence
Domestic violence survivors often seek out services during extremely difficult times in their lives. Many survivors have thoughts of suicide, or histories of attempting suicide. This fundamental training is designed for direct service advocates supporting survivors of domestic violence. Participants will learn appropriate ways to assess for suicide and respond to those who might be having suicidal thoughts. The training provides information and resources to help advocates effectively work with survivors who struggle with emotional wellness.
