Supporting Immigrant and Refugee Survivors

In this engaging webinar, you will learn how to use trauma-informed approaches to assist immigrant and refugee families. Topics include the basics of immigration, the differences between legal and undocumented immigrants, and legal remedies. As an advocate, you will understand the importance of cultural humility and have the opportunity to improve the quality of the survivors’ lives. You will have access to resources that facilitate the integration of the immigrant and refugee survivors through education, training, and other supportive services. The training will conclude with a 30-minute panel discussion.

CEUs: 3.5 CEUs will be available for this training. To obtain them, you are required to attend the entire training. You will be asked to fill out an evaluation prior to receiving a certificate of attendance.
