Due to recent concerns over the coronavirus and guidance from the state, ODVN has decide to change or cancel any upcoming training that has been schedule through the end of March. Any trainings that can be made virtual will be converted to that format. If you registered for any of those trainings, you will be notified via email regarding any changes to the training or if it has been cancelled. We will try our best to keep the list below as updated as possible, so please check back often. We will reevaluate any future trainings (after March 31st) as they get closer. All trainings affected by this will be marked with a red asterisk (*).

If you have any questions or concerns regarding any scheduled trainings you have registered for, please feel free to contact our Training Coordinator, Denise Kontras, at denisek@odvn.org. Thank you and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation at this time.

Online Learning

The Online Learning Academy provides a variety of educational opportunities for advocates, allied partners and others wishing to expand their knowledge of issues related to domestic violence. The online training materials may be in the form of modules, courses, videos, quizzes and other learning methods.

Caucuses and Task Forces

The Ohio Domestic Violence Network supports local member programs through sponsoring task forces and caucuses that address the ways in which domestic violence impacts different communities and groups of people. Caucuses and task forces are made up of professionals, service providers, advocates, and community members who are interested in issues related to specific underserved populations. ODVN has task forces addressing domestic violence and disabilities, domestic violence and immigration, and domestic violence in the LGBTQI community. ODVN also facilitates the Women of Color and Child Advocacy Caucus.
