A Healthcare Provider’s Guide to Domestic Violence Training


This 2-3 hour training assists healthcare providers in understanding their role in eliminating domestic violence. The training features a discussion of the dynamics of domestic violence, effective screening and assessment of patients, documentation of disclosed violence, safety planning, and local resources.


ODVN’s Training and Healthcare Project Coordinator provide this interactive training. Participants will receive an accompanying manual, and the host medical agency will receive a video depicting accurate screening and assessment techniques. This training is free to healthcare providers.
