Safety Planning Training


This training presents the latest ideas related to safety planning for battered persons and their children. The trainer will discuss the different types of safety plans, specific techniques for eliciting relevant information from clients, how to assess batterer and life generated risks, as well as safety planning with children who witness domestic violence.


The length of this training varies from 2 to 4 hours. Training includes lecture and discussion, and participants will receive a training packet with the workshop.
