Developing and Facilitating a Support Group Training


This workshop is designed to help domestic violence programs or allied professionals develop and facilitate a support group for victim/survivors of domestic violence. The training covers topics ranging from advertising your group, group format and structure, specific facilitation techniques, and how to assist challenging clients.


The workshop duration can last from 2 hours to a full day of training. Training includes lecture, discussion, and other experiential activities. Participants will receive a training packet with the workshop.
