Outreach to Underserved Communities Training


This training is presented as a Part II to the above anti-oppression training. Participants use the principles learned in the anti-oppression training and translate this knowledge to developing effective outreach programming. Based on Sujata Warrior’s Outreach to Underserved Communities curriculum this 1-2 day training works with programs to effectively evaluate current outreach efforts and develop long and short-term strategies to conduct outreach efforts.


ODVN will provide the training, which will include lecture, small group discussion and activities. Participants will also receive handouts and worksheets completed during the training.
