This video shows highlights and testimonies from the Battered Mothers Speak Out: A Human Rights Tribunal on Domestic Violence and Child Custody in the Massachusetts Family Courts.  This resource addresses the difficulties that domestic violence survivors experience during custody hearings.  Often rulings in custody cases between survivor and abuser result in the abuser getting custody or very liberal visitation rights; both of which may not be in the best interest of the child/children.  This DVD features information from Jay Silverman; Lundy Bancroft; Cynthia J. Mesh, Monica Ghosh Driggers; Kim Slote, and Carrie Cuthbert.  The written report of the findings of this project is included with this resource.
