Going to court for civil or criminal case can be difficult and confusing. You may get free advocate from local domestic violence or rape crisis program to:

  • Provide emotional support and do safety planning with you;
  • Find legal information and resources;
  • Go with you to file for a protection order; lawyer's office; any court hearings.
